Surprising Benefits of Generosity

For a Christ-follower there are (at least) five benefits to generosity:

A Closer Walk with God – In Matthew 6:24 Jesus effectively says there is a constant battle for the throne of your heart between God and money (mammon). Generosity is an effective weapon in this struggle every Christian faces.

Joy – God is generous beyond measure. And when you give you'll find yourself sharing in His joy. When Zacchaeus was transformed by meeting Jesus, check out his newfound joy in generosity (Luke 19).

Satisfaction – It's different than joy. Satisfaction comes when you do something you know you should. God has given you what you have so you can pay it forward. “...you will be enriched in every way so that you can always be generous” (2 Corinthians 9:11).

God is Glorified – “As a result of your ministry [of giving], they will give glory to God" (2 Corinthians 9:13).

Impact – When you give to a cause it's because you want to see something happen! Jesus told us, "The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field" (Luke 10:2). At Q Place we equip Christians to be harvest workers, making brand new disciples of Jesus.
And yes, you'll also get a tax-deduction if you give to a non-profit like Q Place. That's a nice bonus!

Would you make a kingdom-impacting gift to Q Place today?

Before December 31, we need to raise over $80,000. For our small-but-growing ministry this is a HUGE need. But God has always provided through friends like you, and I'm confident He will provide again.

Thank you, in advance, for helping Q Place prepare harvest workers to make new disciples of Jesus!
