Becoming An Equipping Center
Becoming a Q Place Equipping Center could be transformational to your community. Christians are not expected to have all of the answers as teachers or preachers. Instead, they are encouraged to become great listeners, to ask good questions, to facilitate great discussions, to welcome people who are different from themselves, and to pray for people. What they learn changes the way they interact with people and often has a profound effect on other people’s lives. But in so doing, it changes them as well.
Here are the next steps to learn more about becoming a Q Place Equipping Center:
- Go to the Equipping Center Resources page. Once you have registered, you’ll be able to access free information about becoming an Equipping Center. Through that information you’ll get a clearer understanding of the five Phases of an Equipping Center and the process of partnering with Q Place. You’ll also be able to download a brochure that briefly summarizes the process, an Equipping Center proposal, and an Equipping Center application..
- Talk with a Q Place representative to learn more about Q Place and Equipping Centers. Visit our Contact page.
- Review the Equipping Center documents with the rest of your organization’s leadership and decide whether this is a fit for you.
- Pray about submitting an application to Q Place to become an Equipping Center.
- Meet with Q Place to review the possibility and timeframe of becoming an Equipping Center. Q Place will be selecting a strategic number of Equipping Centers in certain key cities within the upcoming year.
- Sign a Q Place Equipping Center agreement that outlines the commitments and responsibilities of both Q Place and your organization.
- Put together a schedule for implementing the five-phase process and set a date for the initial training of your organization’s leadership.
